GLYPLEX®: Hair & Scalp Active Matrix
GLYPLEX® is a dual-domain active matrix for hair strengthening and scalp care. One ingredient works in two places: it makes the hair fiber more resilient and helps refresh the scalp surface, giving formulators a single active for shampoos, conditioners and treatments.
Stronger, more resilient hair
In independent testing, hair treated with GLYPLEX® showed a 77.8% reduction in breakage. On bleached hair, premature breakage of GLYPLEX®-treated hair showed no statistically significant difference from virgin hair. Full results are in the GLYPLEX® brochure.
A refreshed scalp
GLYPLEX® supports gentle exfoliation and the removal of surface buildup, helping keep the scalp in good condition as part of a regular routine.
Formulating with GLYPLEX®
Use at 3–20% as supplied. Around 3% suits everyday shampoos and conditioners; 20% is the treatment level behind the test results. For products sold in China, use a maximum of 18% as supplied. GLYPLEX® is a clear, odorless solution supplied in 25 kg pails and 250 kg drums, and starter formulations are available for a shampoo and a conditioner.
